Meet Pastor Ron Burkett

Pastor Ron is a native of Hallton, Pa, where he was born and raised until the time of his fathers death, when Ron was 13. Thereafter, Ron along with his mother and four siblings relocated to Ridgway. While attending Ridgway HS,  Ron also wrestled and played football, where he graduated in 1969.

After High School, Pastor Ron joined the US Navy and served four years on the aircraft carrier USS Hancock, which was positioned in the Tonken Bay during the Viet Nam War. Shortly after returning home from Viet Nam, Pastor Ron met his wife, Roxane, and they were married in 1975.

 

Pastor Ron came to know the Lord in 1978, after his sister's tragic death in an industrial accident.  Shortly after that, the Lord filled Him with His Spirit, though Ron was not really sure about what had happened.   Then a couple years later, the same thing happened to his wife Roxane.

 Pastor Burkett also serves as a  pastor/ elder in Hallton, PA, and is actively involved in several ministries throughout the region. Ron has also been involved with the Christian Motorcycle Association, Revivals, Healing Room Ministry and service as an advisor for Aglow International.  He previously served as an ordained elder and as an interim pastor in Ridgway, PA
